IGMS Issue Three Live

Issue three is live.

Congrats to all the writers.

We've actually been ready to go for a while now, except for some of the art work. We finally made the decision to go ahead anyway with what we had. All that missing at this point is the piece to accompany James Maxey's story (which the artist has promised us will be done very soon).

Obviously I'm very pleased. I hope when you read it you will be too.

  1. Ed,

Congratulations on your innaugural issue! Everything looks great, and I'm sure you're pleased to have the first one out in the world. May you have many, many more to come!

Yay! I logged in this morning and found that it was available. I've already paid for my issue and now have something else to read on my lunch break at work. I also see that Jose Mojica was the Orson Picks this month which is really cool since he was at the class/boot camp this year. Congrats on getting it out the door Ed!

  3. Thanks, all. As Rick said - the first of many. Time to put my head down and get the next one ready...

  4. I'll be honest. I was upset to here that OSC was getting a new editor for IGMS. When I heard it was you I was some what relieved, because I enjoyed Trill and the Beanstalk. But since looking over this new issue and reading your letter from the editor I am more that satisfied. You also used a Tim Pratt story for the cover. Tim is one of my favorite short fiction authors. Feel free to publish more from him any time. I also love the story behind the story idea. Great job!

  5. I'm very glad to know you're happy with the results. Having OSC's confidence and support was wonderful, but I knew that was just the beginning. I knew I'd have to win over the readers, too. Thanks.
